(1) Zuoying Petrochemical Industry Zone：
located in Kaohsiung City, Zuoying , mainly the Kaohsiung oil refinery , the plant was founded in the Republic of China on June 1 , 35 years , left camp half-screen mountain plant, about 11 kilometers from Kaohsiung city center , covers an area of 384 hectares .
There are also Guanyin , Wucailin and other transportation and storage departments , with a total area of about 555 hectares .
CNPC currently has three refineries in Kaohsiung, Taoyuan and Dalin . The total daily refining volume of crude oil is 770,000 barrels .
Among them , the Kaohsiung Refinery has the longest history , complex processes and complete facilities .
It is a large-scale consistent oil refining and petrochemical production plant , capable of refining 270,000 barrels of crude oil daily .
The major equipments have atmospheric distillation ,vacuum distillation , hydrodesulfurization,match group heavy oil desulfurization , residual gasification , alkylation,hydrocracking , light oil treatment , vacuum diesel hydrodesulfurization, isomerization , tertiary amyl methyl ether,hydrogen, petroleum coke , asphalt , sulfur recovery...refinery equipment and light oil cracking , aromatic hydrocarbons , extraction and other petrochemical basic raw material production workshops .
(2)Dashe Petrochemical Industrial Zone :
It is located in Dashe Township , Kaohsiung City .
In order to promote the development of the petrochemical industry , reduce the cost of petrochemical raw materials and dependence on imports , and strengthen the international competitiveness of exported products , the government developed the first phase in June of the 60th year of the Republic of Taiwan and completed the second phase in 64 years .
The development area is 106 hectares .
As of May 91 , there were a total of twelve manufacturers operating factories , with nine manufacturers of chemical materials, two manufacturers of chemical products , and one manufacturer of machinery and equipment .
(3)Renwu Petrochemical Industrial Zone :
It is located in Renwu Township , Kaohsiung City .
The total area is 21 hectares . There are 34 manufacturers operating in the factory .
The manufacturers are six mechanical equipment manufacturing and repairing industries , six metal basic industries, six metal product manufacturing industries , three non-metallic mineral product manufacturing industries , three transportation vehicle manufacturing , three repairing industries and chemical industries .
